countdown to ireland....9
I should have really started the countdown yesterday as starting a count from "9" just seems a bit clumsy. Anyway, just nine days to go before I hop on the plane to the land of the leprechauns.
I'm really excited about the trip. Three weeks of castles, ancient stone circles, ruined forts, cathedrals, bogs and breathtaking landscapes. Three weeks of biking, driving and walking along staggering coastlines dotted with seabirds. Three weeks of mystic mountains, hills and lakes. Three weeks of camping in caravan parks and possibly even farmland and open fields. I wonder if I'll run into any leprechauns...
